FARMINGTON — Four students from Mt. Blue High School performed in the Maine All-State Music Festival held Thursday to Saturday, May 17 to 19, at the University of Maine Orono.

Ben Marcotte and Lydia Doyle, both of Farmington, sang in choral groups.

Performing in the concert band were Ian Berry of Wilton and Hallie Pike of Jay. Berry played percussion instruments and Pike clarinet.

Auditions for the festival were held late last fall. Students received the music to be performed in late April.

On Thursday and Friday, May 17 and 18, several rehearsals were held at the University of Maine Orono. Dress rehearsals were held Saturday morning.

The chorus performed that afternoon. Appearances by the concert band and orchestra followed.
