WILTON — Members of the Wilton Lions Club made a special presentation on Thursday, taking time out from preparing French fries for visitors to the annual Osgood’s open house.

Lions Treasurer Bill Fletcher congratulated Spencer Osgood for the 89th consecutively held open house at the East Dixfield tractor and equipment dealership.

Fletcher also presented Osgood with a Milestone Chevron Award and 50-year pin for his service in the Lions Club.

Fletcher read a letter from Lions Club International President Dr. Naresh Aggarwal. It said in part, “Recognizing the anniversaries of members like you are a reminder of the milestones in our lives. They give us the opportunity to celebrate, commemorate and reflect on the Power of We and what we can accomplish together to make the world a better place.”

Lions members and visitors gave Osgood a round of applause.
