FARMINGTON — Adam Kevin Oberton took his time in making his debut, but he was still the first baby born at Franklin Memorial Hospital in 2015. His family lives in Livermore.
Mom Kimberly Bellanceau was in labor off and on for three days before Adam arrived at 9:52 a.m. on Jan. 1. He weighed 7 pounds, 1.2 ounces and was attended by Dr. Tara Aumand of Franklin Health Women’s Care.
Dad John Oberton was expecting a December baby as the due date was Dec. 30. The couples’ oldest son, Nathan, was born on Dec. 28 four years ago. They also have a two-year old, Nickolas, who was a March baby.
John Oberton and Kimberly Bellanceau are the proud parents of Adam Kevin Oberton, the first baby born at Franklin Memorial Hospital in 2015.
Oberton said that the newest member of the family was “named in honor and memory of my uncle who passed on two years ago.” He also considers Adam to be a very strong boy’s name.
One brother met Adam soon after he was born while the other was expected to make his acquaintance on Friday. Oberton said the baby was already getting to meet a lot of new people and he had posted pictures of Adam within hours of his birth.
Paternal grandparents are Kevin and Blanche Davis. Maternal grandparents are Paul Bellanceau and Heather Hayes.
As Franklin Memorial Hospital’s first baby of 2015, Adam’s family was presented with a Step 2 push around buggy donated by Franklin Memorial Hospital (FMH) on Friday, Jan. 2, full of gifts donated by area merchants including: Franklin Savings Bank, large canvas bag; Calico Patch, onesie; Devaney, Doak & Garrett Booksellers, the book Farmyard Numbers; FMH Auxiliary Gift Shop, $50 gift certificate; FMH Maternal and Child Health Unit, infant spoon; Bangor Savings Bank, $25 deposit account certificate; Trask Jewelers, infant spoon; and Hannaford, $25 gift card.
